TJM 4x4 a major highlight in global Mitsubishi ALL-NEW TRITON launch

Brisbane, Australia - (28 July 2023) – Globally, Mitsubishi Motors has produced approximately 5.6 million pickup trucks over the last 45 years since first launching in 1978. They have chosen to collaborate with TJM 4x4 Equipped due to the businesses 50 plus years of experience producing high-quality 4x4 accessories. As part of the collaboration, TJM 4x4 fully designed and developed a range of 4x4 and outdoor adventure accessories for the global launch of the ALL-NEW TRITON. 

The sixth generation ALL-NEW TRITON launch was nine years in the making and is based on the product concept “Power for Adventure”. Mitsubishi expects to produce 200,000 TRITONs per year to export to over 100 countries around the world. Aeroklas, the owner of the TJM brand, distributes 4x4 aftermarket accessories to 116 countries around the world, making them well-placed to service the global needs of Mitsubishi. The ALL-NEW TRITON will be rolled out in markets centering on the ASEAN and Oceania regions and is scheduled for launch in Japan in early 2024 for the first time in 12 years.

TJM 4x4 engineers in Australia and Thailand have worked tirelessly to develop 46 different products custom designed for the ALL-NEW TRITON in time for the launch of the new vehicle. The ALL-NEW TRITON collaboration makes use of Aeroklas, TJM and XGS custom-designed products. The products developed include enhanced vehicle protection, suspension upgrades, recovery gear, snorkel, camping gear, lighting and a host of other accessories.

The TJM accessories for the TRITON WORLD Exhibition were specifically developed for Thailand market, however for export markets TJM will be designing products to suit with each country’s requirements. The ALL-NEW TRITON is set to become a global strategic vehicle for Mitsubishi and with the news that the rollout in Oceania is not far away (February 2024), Aeroklas Asia Pacific Group CEO Greg Kelly is keenly awaiting its arrival.
