What is a GVM Plus Upgrade?

Whether it’s for work or off-road touring, if you've got yourself a 4WD, chances are you’re loading it up and decking it out with 4x4 essentials such as bull bars, underbody guards, side steps and so on. Doing so can quickly exceed your 4x4's legal Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), the maximum a vehicle can weigh when fully loaded, and it can have disastrous consequences. Furthermore, everything you place on or in your vehicle adds to the overall GVM as well. This includes fuel, passengers, other cargo and accessories, and even the tow ball load applied by a boat or camper trailer.

What's In a GVM Plus Upgrade?

XGS GVM + Kits includes a full suspension upgrade. (Correction components where required) But a Suspension upgrade alone will not increase a vehicle's listed GVM simply by the fitment of it.XGS GVM+ upgrades go through a party of testing (Computer FEA & Real world) to ensure the absolute Safety and Longevity of you and your vehicle. All XGS Suspension components are subjected to our own internal testing before being sent for accredited 3^rd party testing to meet ADR requirements.

Our XGS GVM+ Medium/Lite features lighter coil/leaf spring options for those not needing a full wight GVM increase, reducing FBT or wanting a more compliant ride unladen.

Whilst the XGS GVM+ Heavy/Complete system uses coils/leaf springs to carry more weight, which allows a high final GVM figure.
